Apple podcasts
We made it onto Apple Podcasts! Our podcasts episodes now feature in what used to be the itunes podcasting section, but is now Apple Podcasts.
What is exciting about this is that our content is now ranking along side all the other professional producers of quality content, it really feels like an endorsement of the efforts and commitment our team has been putting into create our episodes and indeed of the wider teams work over the last twelve months to bring Reporting Accounts into the mainstream as a provider of Business Intelligence for UK companies.
You can find our Apple Podcast channel here.
Over the last six weeks or so we have been busy recording our show for a growing listener base, we are now are seeing regular listeners and vistors increasingly coming to our main site having listened to one of our show episodes. Our resident Financial expert Adrian Lawrence has many years of media experience having appear on TV, radio and in the newspapers, though mostly during the period 2007-2011 he still has good skills in the area.
We are planning to expand further our podcasts, recording more episodes and beefing up some of our earlier ones now we know what the sweet spot is for this media, we have found it is best for episodes to not be too short or too long, that way we keep the listeners engaged through to the end.
Each episode on Apple has text describing the show and links back to see more episodes, you can also click the episode website, this will in the future link back to our blog here, but whilst we prepare pages to match each episode it links back to our podcasting hosting provider.
We have 22 episodes live at the current time of writing, but more are in progress. We record these during the week and drip feed them live to fit around the time commitment our CEO Adrian Lawrence has, he currently works for us one day per week so time is limited.
A lot of work is going on in the background as we write and we have new artwork being prepared to support our podcast channel and a separate areas of this website is under development to showcast our shows, but that is a future plan, we will update this blog with more news on that nearer the time.
Also our content is getting picked up and used by many of the sites that work in partnership with Apple, so Podcast Directories and Aggregators and helping to leverage our coverage so more people get to listen to our content and engage with our brand and company.
Here are a few of the places where our content can also be found, thanks to Apple.
